Having grown up on the Coast of Moray, Scotland, my art is heavily inspired by the seascape and nature of this beautiful area. The ever-changing surroundings I was exposed to growing up have influenced and embedded themselves in my art and the vast array of things I find along the coast allow me to be constantly refreshed in my inspiration.

Predominantly a textile artist, I also paint and mix photography in to my work. Merging all these mediums allows me to expand what textile results I get, creating mixed media paintings and photographs, along with fabric sculptures which focus on structural abstraction.

I have recently started expanding my source of inspiration further and began exploring my faith as a born-again Christian. Using my coastal inspiration as a metaphor for my faith, along with Bible verses and words such as 'Light' and 'Water', and use this as an expression of my love for Jesus.
